Display Account Manager

The Display Account Manager will be responsible for developing strong client relationships, ensuring client happiness, and improving customer retention. The ideal candidate is well versed in media buying, but also experienced with onboarding and setting up new clients. Prior industry experience and relevant contacts around Display (specifically Native) is greatly preferred. This position is fast paced, exciting, and has un-capped growth potential.
Responsibilities:
- Develop ad campaigns including drafting headlines, copy and choose images for ad creative
- Set up, monitor, and optimize online advertising campaigns from start to finish
- Analyze Facebook media buys and associated metrics on a daily basis to ensure profitability
- A/B Test ad copy, images and short form advertorials effectively to meet performance goals
- Analyze web metrics, provide campaign effectiveness reports, and recommend optimizations when appropriate to improve media performance
- Proactively optimize media buys by adjusting advertisements (creatives) and all other levers at your disposal such as: rates, placements, geo-targeting, etc. to ensure that goals are met
- Manage media plans including changes, budgeting, execution, reporting, and optimization
- Research display ads and copy to gain for inspiration for new ad angles
- Stay apprised of industry standards and competitors and create strategies to reach target goals
- Develop and foster strong relationships with media partners
- Help onboard new clients and be a point of contact for them during the client set-up and onboarding stages
Requirements:
- Proficient in digital media buying on CPM, CPC, and CPA
- Understands direct response advertising
- Ability and experience to create and optimize campaigns on native, social and mobile/desktop display
- Familiar with ad serving platforms (uploading creatives, tracking, tags) or ability to quickly learn the basics on your own
- Knows how to make optimizations based on site, device, creative headlines and images
- CPC Bidding Experience with Yahoo Gemini, Google, Bing, Taboola, Rev Content, Content.Ad and any other relevant media buying networks
- Basic understanding of Google Analytics
- Applicable digital account management experience
